Sri Lanka will be hosting ‘Medi Pharma’, a major international exhibition displaying the latest pharmaceutical products, equipment and services in the health care sector next year, sources revealed. The exhibition is scheduled for March 31 to April 2, 2001. Medi Pharma, organised by Pharmaceutical Society of Sri Lanka in collaboration with CDC Conventions (Pvt) Ltd. will be a forum for suppliers as well as their clientele, health care professionals, administrators and others interested in the health care sector. A number of overseas exhibitors from the South Asian and South East Asian regions as well as local representatives will be participating. “This exhibition themed ‘Partner in enhancing Health Care for the new Millennium’ will be one of the most spectacular events covering all aspects of the health care. This will be an ideal opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the latest products and advances in the sector,” said Prof. Tuley de Silva, President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Sri Lanka.
