A Sri Lankan's nose was sliced off, another shot in the head, and two others suffered stab wounds to their chest and arms as a Deevali celebration in West London ended up in a Tamil feud last week, sources reported. The incident occurred at around midnight on Saturday November 4 at "Mistique" night club in Cavesdish Parade after a disturbance between two rival Tamil gangs. Several people received injuries and the man who had received a gunshot wound to his head is in a critical condition. The Tamil gang wars, which take place constantly in the area, have become a threat to the lives of the people in the neighbourhood. It is difficult to consider these stabbings and killings as isolated incidents and simply forget them. However such incident have constantly been reported from Canada, France and USA.
