The LTTE has finally released the much-awaited movie on the fall of Elephant Pass. The screening took place on November 05 at Oslo Filmenhuest a Theatre, which screens mostly English and Norwegian films, the sources revealed. Sources revealed that the main objective of screening the movie was to boost and rebuild their already dissolving image in the international political arena. Reports further say that LTTE was trying its best to convince its supporters who have been contributing large sums of money to Prabhakaran who promised to take Jaffna after the fall of Elephant Pass. LTTE has been trying different tac-tics and carried out propaganda to whitewash their bloodstained image. Thus this incident is one such attempts to appear as liberators of Tamils. Sources further reported that the movie had been a self-exposure with many scenes of LTTE's child soldiers, which re-emphasised their utter negligence for children's rights and revealed their true tiger instincts. "The snake must be hit on the head and hard " such voice cuts of Prabhakaran were also included in the movie. However, Sri Lankan president Chandrika Kumaratunga still invites them for peace negotiation. In an announcement released by the LTTE reveals that they have lost over 15,000 cadres which is a major loss for them. And currently they are in a militarily weak and defeated position as a result of the heavy attacks carried out by the government troops.
