Deputy Health Minister passes away

Lionel Gunawardena, Deputy Health Minister died of a heart attack while attending a public gathering at the Pelpola Vippassi Foundation today.

He was earlier the Deputy Minister of Internal & International Trade & Commerce and was re-elected to parliament from the Gampaha District.
