A spokesman for Russian centre stated that a seven member Sri Lankan delegation will visit Russia next year to promote friendly relations between the two countries. The visits are expected to exchange information on science, culture, politics, history and people's day-to-day life activities between Russia and Sri Lanka. These arranged visits will open doors for Sri Lankans to gain knowledge on the transformation in Russia and to establish mutually beneficial co-operation among the two countries. The Russian Centre in Colombo will take further action to establish connections with Sri Lankan Republic and democratic organisations. The main aim of the organisation is to establish cordial relations and mutually beneficial co-operation between Russia and other countries.
