Search operations have been launched for seven suicide bombers who are allegedly in Trincomalee town, sources said. According to Police the target of the suicide bombers is the Trincomalee naval harbour and security in Trincomalee town and adjoining areas have been strengthened. Meanwhile, a stock of batteries worth over Rs.10,000 was seized hidden in a dilapidated building, situated close to the sea beach in Trincomalee and three battery dealers were arrested in this connection.
