A Sri Lankan Tamil and LTTE supporter M. K. Eelavendhan who had been residing in Chennai for more than a decade was deported to Colombo last week, sources said. His deportation was following a Union Home Ministry directive. Eelavendhan a TULF functionary- turned-LTTE supporter was picked up for enquiry from his Arumbakkan residence around 5 a.m. and put on a Colombo flight.
