Sri Lankan Army had recovered three bodies of teenage Tamil Tiger soldiers, following the stage -2 of the Kinihira –5 operation against terrorist in Nunavil areas, the security sources revealed yesterday. Troops have recovered a total of 13 bodies of dead LTTE cadres. On information received on 17 December troops operating west of Rankethagama in Poovarasakulam, found the dead body of a civilian identified as that of Ranpithpilai Selvakumar(42) Mariyakulam, Poovarasakulam. It is alleged that the killing was done by terrorists. One officer and eight soldiers were wounded when troops on petrol confronted a terrorist group ahead of forward FDefence Lines in the general area of Nunavil. Terrorists fled the area carrying their wounded cadres, the sources revealed.
