Fifty six illegal immigrants including 27 Sri Lankans were nabbed at the Port of Dover by P&O secuerity guards on Christmas eve by using the latest Carbon Dioxide (CO2) detectors. The rest consisted of turks, Iranians, Iraqis and Chinese. According to Immigration officials, European gangsters once involved in gun running and drugs are exploiting Britains's " non care" attitude and assisting would be economic refugees to enter Britain.
