Six soldiers remanded for killing eight civilians

Six army personnel were produced as suspects in connection with the disappearance of civilians in Murusuvil North Tenmaradchchy, sources reported.

Meanwhile the bodies of these eight persons were found buried in a pit.

According to the sources  a lance corporal and five other army personnel were produced before Annailingham Premsankar, Chavakachcheri Magistrate, as suspects.

The suspects are remanded till January 10 and will be produced in court on January 03 for identification.

The suspects will be tried at a Trial at Bar.

Further the witnesses of this murder were asked to come forward without fear and assist the court to elicit the truth and meet out punishment to the guilty.

The government will take firm action against those who will be charged guilty.
