Sihala Urumaya Leader criticizes Norway's facilitation in Parliament

The leader and sole MP of the Sihala Urumaya, Thilak Karunaratne criticized Norway's involvement in the Sri Lankan crisis in the Parliament yesterday, sources revealed.

Mr. Karunaratne was speaking during the Emergency debate when he insulted the Norwegian peace envoy Erik Solheim that drew several criticism from several MPs in the House. 

However, TULF MP V. Anandasangari apologized, expressing regret for the remarks made by Mr. Karunaratne on behalf of the whole country to Mr. Solheim who had arrived at the invitation extended by the Sri Lankan Government.
