A two-day debate commencing from January 23 will debate on the state of economy, sources revealed. This decision was taken at a party leader meeting in the parliament last Friday chaired by the speaker Anura Bandaranaike. The devaluation of the rupee, price hike in diesel and gas, increase in bank interest rates and the rising cost of living will be the key issues taken into discussion.
