British concerned over LTTE "Peace" event in London

The British authorities were highly concerned over the “Peace event” held at London Members of Parliament office building, Atlee Suite, Portcullis House, Westminster on 22 January 2001 organised by its front organisations “Confederation of Tamil Association ― UK”. 

Large amounts of inquiries were made by high levels in Britain, regarding the usage of British parliamentary facilities and lobbying by a foreign terrorist organisation. 

According to the sources “peace event” was an exclusive story of newspapers in London on Thursday.   

Also last year it was revealed by an article in Sunday Telegraph [London], regarding the usage of British schools for terrorist fundraising and propaganda by the LTTE.  Certain concern was made by the British security community about fundraising within the soil of Britain.  Many major politicians in Britain attended the peace event.
