LTTE attempts to disrepute SL Army

LTTE in an attempt to disrepute the Sri Lanka Army has spread a rumour saying that army in Eastern Province had published a handbill apologising for massacring civilians. However Army Police and general public in Batticaloa have denied that SL Army had distributed such a handbill.

Observers said that LTTE is trying hard to disfigure the world opinion on image of the Sri Lanka Forces.
