SL firmly condemns LTTE bombing on OXFAM

The Sri Lanka Government has firmly condemned the January 31 bomb attack on the Colombo Oxfam office.

Further a Foreign Ministry communiqué said: “The Government of Sri Lanka unreservedly condemns this act of violence against an inter national non-governmental organisation.  Such criminal and terrorist acts should be severely condemned by all civilised societies and responsible governments.”

“The Government of Sri Lanka has promptly instructed the relevant police agency to conduct a comprehensive investigation into this incident with a view to apprehending the perpetrators and dealing with them according to law.”
