A top level Norwegian delegation arrives this week with a broader agenda for talks with the Sri Lankan officials. The delegation's objective would be to discuss trade, investment and development activities assisted by the Norwegian Government. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Norway Ms. Sigrun Mogedal will head the delegation comprising Senior Foreign Ministry officials. They will hold talks with their Sri Lankan counterparts. Norway's annual grant for various development activities in Sri Lanka is the region of 100 million Norwegian kroners. Diplomatic ties between the two countries have been fruitful during the past several decades.
