The LTTE organisation’s London-based theoretician Anton Balasingham had told a Tamil Weekly, “Committing atrocities in a war situation is natural. Also he had questioned Norwegian peace initiative, Eric Solheim, according to such a circumstance and when Tamils fighting for liberation of Tamils, can Britain ban LTTE as a terrorist organisation? This statement was made by Anton Balasingham due to the insecurity of banning their international terrorist organisation that is the LTTE, this month under the newly imposed anti terrorist laws in United Kingdom. He was reported to have said LTTE would show Britain their “real terrorism” means if it is prohibited there.
