Dr, Mrs. Manorani says goodbye to the nation

Dr. Mrs. Manorani Saravanamuttu passed away after prolonged illness yesterday.

She is the mother of well known journalist Richard de Zoysa, who was brutally murdered in 1990. Dr. Manorani was witness to the abduction of her son. She played a mojor role in the process of bringing suspects in the killing to courts.

Dr. Saravanamuttu was honored with the Zonta Women of Achievement Award-1989, for leadership in Community Services.
