Tamil leader reiterated opposition to LTTE

The leader of main opposition of Tamilnadu, Jayalalitha Jayaram, reiterated her opposition to the separatist LTTE activities in Sri Lanka.

Jayalalitha Jayaram made this statement, while forging an alliance with Pattali Makkal Katachchi [PMK].  PMK is a party that is openly sympathetic towards Tiger cause and withdrew from India's coalition a week ago.

Jayalalitha's statements were intended to reassure two other parties, Tamil Maanila congress party, which are vehemently opposed to the LTTE.  Yet these two parties have not decided on their alliance with AIADMK led by Jayalalitha Jayaram.
