Three of the world's most luxurious passenger liners will be arriving in Colombo next month marking an exciting event in both the shipping and tourism sectors of Sri Lanka. The visit of Queen Elizabeth II (QEII), the Seabourn Sun and the Seabourn Spirit five-star cruise ships will be handled by the Delmege Group Shipping Companies which represent several major operators world-wide. The QEII last called at Colombo five years ago, while the Seabourn Sun berthed at Colombo four years ago. Seabourn Spirit will be the first to arrive in Colombo on March 3. It can carry a complement of 370 passengers and the crew has been operating out of Singapore on short cruises since January. The Seabourn Sun is expected in Colombo on March 7and the QEII is due on March 20.The QEII is known as the world's best-known passenger ship which can carry 2346 passengers at full capacity.
