State Radio introduces Youth channel

A new youth channel, Pavana will go on the air tomorrow.The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Cooperation says this channel is modelled on Germany’s very successful ‘Eins Live’.

Pavana, a 24-hour channel will replace the existing Sinhala Commercial Service of the SLBC.

The new youth channel will beam out on six FM frequencies.
