British secrets on Sri Lanka to be bared

The British Government has opened to the public, confidential documents relating to Sri Lanka under British rule. The British Archives is the custodian of these documents relating to its former colonies. 

Director of National Archives in Sri Lanka D.G Wimalaratne said that these are a series of documents relating to Sri Lanka as well as many other former British colonies and has been sequentially opened for public viewing every year under the policy of the British Archives.
