Nawabima to hatch small enterprises

A Company with public and private participation has been set-up to incubate small and medium enterprises (SME) in the manufacturing sector.

The new company, Nawabima Enterprises Ltd. was launched with the aim of regrouping and helping small and medium scale industries to develop.

The Industrial Development Ministry and UNIDO are the key sponsors of the project. 

"Each incubator company would be charged Rs. 7,500 and the entrepreneurs will have access to all facilities such as telephone, fax and e-mail."

The incubation programme is expected to come into being from August this year offering a new package of hope for small and medium scale industry holders.
