The Government of Sri Lanka imposed curfew in its Capital, including Colombo and Dehiwala-Mt.Lavinia Municipal areas. It was started at midnight yesterday (6) and continued until 12.30 this afternoon. Government security authorities were engaged in a massive search operation in these areas and large number of suspected Tamil Tigers were arrested for questioning on terrorist activities.
