Tigers main suspects in Badulla transformer blast

Suspected LTTE associates blasted transformer worth over Rs. 375,000 in Badulla on Thursday, security sources revealed.
     The army and the police have conducted a search operation to arrest any suspects in this connection. The authorities believe the LTTE behind the incident since several investigations have revealed tiger infiltration from the north east especially for such disastrous events.
     According to police sources this was the second transformer to be blasted in the same place.
     Ceylon Electricity Board is taking steps to replace the blasted transformer with a new one to provide power supply to the area.
