Tigers continue to attack farmers

Yesterday around 12.20 pm in Southeast of Thanankilappu, Jaffna, terrorists attacked farmers reaping their harvest in paddy fields, injuring one.

Although security forces have allowed the Tamil civilians to collect their harvest, LTTE is continuing their attacks on them in order to create hardships to the Tamil people since they are in the government controlled areas.  

In Muhavil, Jaffna, around 8.25 am snipers operating ahead of defences killed one terrorist.  

On Wednesday, in Ivanai, Jaffna, around 8 pm the Grama Niladhari (Village Headman) was stabbed by an unknown person. Subsequently, he was admitted to Jaffna hospital for treatment.
