Nine escaped patients interrogated by police

Two Tamil patients and seven others, escaped while being brought from Jaffna by the ICRC, to the Colombo National Hospital on Saturday, they had been subjected to intensive investigations, ICRC sources said.

These two escaped while documents were being prepared to admit them to the Colombo National Hospital.

The ICRC spokesman further said that one of the escaped patients, a university student had later taken a telephone call at Habarana from a wayside boutique. 

Police investigations on the two escaped patients also had confirmed this.
