LTTE lost of nearly four hundred frontline cadres following the Airforce raids, intensity in fighting has dropped significantly said Special Media Unit. They appeared to be in a state of disarray. Troops continued their offensive posture during last twenty-four hours accounted for a number of LTTE cadres in Nagarkovil, Ampan, Kovillakkany and Colombothurai. Sources monitoring LTTE revealed that hundreds of injured terrorists cadres are being abandoned by the LTTE because lack of transport and medical facilities. Reinforcement is being sought among child soldiers who reports say are being abducted by LTTE agents.
