According to LTTE transmissions, Lieutenant Colonel Lawrence, the LTTE leader who led the abortive attack on the security forces was killed and another leader is reported to be missing, during clashes with the army yesterday. Over 150 cadres had been killed and 69 bodies were recovered by the army. Political sources also stated that the LTTE is been pressurized from internally by the innocent Tamil people and externally by international forces. The Tamil people living under the LTTE have started to resist specially against the by force conscription of under aged children. Tigers continuing shelling in Jaffna have also raised concern world wide.
