Gangodawila courthouse bombed

A powerful blast took place today in the suburbs of Colombo, in the Gangodawila Magistrate Court in Nugegoda, injuring at least six people, sources said.

Police investigations revealed the possibility of a rival gang aiming the attack at the criminal defendants.

The possibility of the attack being related to the LTTE also remains with the 13th anniversary of the Black Tigers first suicide attack being marked today.
