A leading member of the LTTE who had been trained in guerrilla warfare in India was arrested by the Negombo Magistrate on Tuesday. According to police she had confessed to have participated in the Kopay and Vadamarachchi confrontations. She was arrested from a house in Polhengoda, Kirillapone by the Negombo Police. The police prosecuted her under the PTA and state of Emergency Regulation.
