Three civilians, two children injured in Tiger attack

Two children and three civilians were badly injured in a Tiger attack in Nallur last Saturday, Military sources confirmed.

While the army was mounting a massive military operation backed by the Air Force to drive away the Tigers from the Peninsula, Tigers were firing at populated areas of the region with the aim of disrupting innocent civilian lives.

According to military officials “ the aim of these attacks on civilian targets is to disturb the electioneering process.”

The Tigers in their bid for a separate Eelam in Sri Lanka is causing violence and bloodshed, especially now with the aim of disturbing the forthcoming general elections.
