Photographs
of five Tamil election candidates of four Tamil parties were found in
Kondavil, Jaffna after a confrontation with the army. The
tiger cadres abandoned some of their belongings. Among them was a bag in
which the security forces found these photographs of the five Tamil
election candidates. This
incident occurred when the soldiers were getting ready to check the three
suspects. They attacked the soldiers with a hand grenade. The
photographs of the Senior Assistant Secretary of the Tamil United
Libration Front [TULF] V.Ananda Sangari, N. Raviraj Assistant Mayor of
Jaffna, T.Subandiram Minister of Urban Council,Ranjan PLOT Candidate,
Velmuruga an indipendent candidate and Thangaraja were found.
