LTTE continues their brutal killings violating all human ethics. Yesterday, while attempting to take the life of Deputy Minister Posts and Telecommunication, M.L.A.M. Hisbullah for the second time after the failure of the first, a 14-year-old youth identified as Suresh was killed in the LTTE’s cross fire with the Police.The youth’s father who accompanied him was injured and admitted to Kalawanchikudy hospital with serious injuries, Police said. According to Police sources, a bicycle bomb went off after Hisbullah passed the spot where it had been parked on the Earvur-Kalmunai road causing injuries to nine persons including four civilians. The Deputy Minister escaped unscathed in the attack. Police who are conducting investigations have so far made no arrests in this connection. Meanwhile, a strong supporter of National Unity Alliance and the SLMC, ‘Beedi’ Kumar who had addressed several meetings in Batticaloa had been kidnapped by the LTTE.
