Central Bank takes steps to fortify the monitary policy

Central Bank has taken several measures to tighten monetary policy to ensure greater financial market stability but the moves have drawn criticism from the private sector, the sources reported.

According to the reports, the Central Bank officials said 'The volatility is temporary and we expect the market to stabilise soon and a gradual easing in interest rates in the medium term".
