Following the bomb attack on a PA election rally at Muttur by a Tiger suicide cadre, four other Tiger suicide cadres have infiltrated Trincomalee and Kantalai areas targeting election contestants, Police said. According to SSP Trincomalee, Gunasena Thenabadu, search operations have been launched to track down these four bombers. Politicians in the area have been warned to be extra vigilant when holding election rallies, Police said. The LTTE have already given warnings that they would not allow a peaceful election on October 10 and Police are on the alert for sudden incidents in the city of Colombo.
