The leader of the EU polls monitors John Cushnahan stated that the final report of the European Union polls observers regarding the recently concluded Parliamentary Election in Sri Lanka will be presented to the EU foreign Minister Chris Pattern in Brussels in Belgium this week. Furthermore the sources revealed that the EU polls observers have made it clear that they were satisfied with the way the election was conducted inspite of few isolated incidents that took place in several electorates. Seventy observers from14 countries of the European Union were present to observe the General Election in Sri Lanka.
