All obstacles have finally been cleared and the path is clear for National Unity Alliance to walk forward in harmony, sources confirmed. The disagreements between the co leaders Ferial Ashraff , the widow of the late leader M.H.M Ashraff were resolved mainly due to the mediating efforts of senior lawyer Faisz Musthapha. However NUA parliamentarians appointed Hakeem last night as their group leader. Further the sources stated that he demanded the party members support in writing. The sources reported that Hakeem was not pleased with Ferial Ashraff's decision to support the ruling People's Alliance unconditionally. However the party has now decided to support the present government under certain conditions.
