New Media Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa condemned the killing of jouirnalist Mylvahanam Nimalrajan, yesterday. The journalist was gunned down by an unidentified armed group. The Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said the at a time when the Government has assured the freedom of journalists, no responsible person could tolarated and it should be unreservedly condemned. As requested by the Minister Presidnet Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunge duirected the Defence Authorities to initiate an immediate enquiry. As the parents of Nimalrajan has injured in the attacks Minister expressed his deepest sympathies to the Family of Mylvahnam Nimalrajan.
