New Cabinet to meet today
 [25 October 2000]

The inaugural sitting of the Peoples Alliance new Cabinet will take place today. President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunge will preside over the meeting.

The President is to brief the cabinet future development programmes and policies of the government.
