Speaker Anura Bandaranaike’s security officer Reserve Police Inspector Ajith Jayasinghe was killed in skirmish yesterday at Ragama. He died on admittance to Ragama hospital. According to Police sources the Reserve Police Inspector was travelling with a homeguard after setting a dispute with two others the rifle of the homeguard accidentally went off killing Ajith Jayasinghe. The post mortem is to be held tomorrow.
