World Junior Tennis Championship to be held in Colombo

The World Junior Tennis Championship will start off on Tuesday in Colombo with the participation of 15 countries.  This is the first time the tournament will be held in the South Asia.

The other 14 countries to take part in the six-day event are Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Thailand, India, Korea, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and Syria.

There are altogether 28 teams who will be playing at the National Tennis Centre courts, Colombo. The qualified four teams will be playing in the grand finals in the Czech Republic later this year.
