Sri Lanka’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry are preparing to felicitate the Entrepreneur of the Year. It is the highest recognition in the country for an entrepreneur. The organizers, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka [FCCISL] aims to recognise, reward and motivate the entrepreneurs through the annual competition. During the competition judges will assess the entrepreneurship skills and talents of the various competitors. Success and turnover will not be criteria. The events will be conducted at provincial and national levels and with the completion of the regional events, the provincial winners will vie for the national awards. The Provincial and National awards ceremonies are scheduled to be held in Colombo in October and November this year.
