Business studies and e-commerce, new courses at University of Sri Jayawardenepura

Academic programs at the University of Sri Jayawardenepura are being restructured to meet demands in the job market by focusing on Business studies and e-Commerce subjects.

A two-year common program of study to equip students with skills in their area of specialisation including e-Commerce will be introduced. A new Management faculty building will to be declared open June 14. 

The University of Sri Jayewardenepura is one of the major universities in Sri Lanka. It is located in Gangodawila, Nugegoda eight miles from Colombo, in the new capital of Sri Lanka - Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte.

The University consists of five faculties - Arts, Medical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Management Studies and Commerce, and Graduate Studies with over 7,000 full-time students.
