Moratuwa, the town more famous for its music, wooden furniture and fishing industry is to have better health facilities shortly. The facilities at the Lunawa Hospital are to be upgraded at a cost of 50 million rupees. This programme will include an Administrative Complex, a new ward costing Rs. 20 million and an Out Patients’ Department. The hospital now treats over 450 non-resident patients daily.
