The new SLMC leader M.L.A.M. Hisbullah at a meeting with the Elections Commissioner yesterday requested that he should be recognised as the new SLMC leader. The Election’s Commissioner, Dayananda Dissanayake told PRIU today that he had not reached any decision regarding the matter and he is investigating on it. Among the SLMC delegation at the meeting with the Polls Chief were, Party Secretary, Nizam Kariyappar and the Party’s National Organiser M I M Nizam.
