Belgian palates were treated to some culinary delights at a Sri Lankan Food and Cultural Festival, at the Brussels Hilton recently. Sri Lankan cuisine is basically multi-cultural being a mix of the native Sinhalese with influences of Indian, Portuguese, Dutch and Turkish styles of cooking. The festival, which commenced with a typical Sri Lankan Dinner, was the second to be held at the Brussels Hilton. It was organised by Srilankan Airlines and Aitken Spence Travels Ltd.
