The Tourism Ministry of the Western Province will set up its own Hotel School in Moragalla, Beruwala next January. This will give an opportunity for the youth in the Province to receive a comprehensive training in the hospitality trade. The Hotel School will provide training to an intake of 100 youth annually. They will be given advanced training relating to the demand driven areas in the hotel sector. A Tourist Information Centre will also be established in the school to provide information to tourists.
