A five-day youth camp will be held at Trincomalee, in North-East Sri Lanka, to strengthen peace and harmony among the Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim youths of North and East from October 12 to 17. The town has equal proportions of Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim people. 300 boys and girls including school prefects, leaders of youth clubs and social workers from the North and East will participate in the camp. The five-day camp is a joint effort by The National Youth Services Council, Sri Lanka Youth Clubs Federation and the North-East Provincial Council.
