Nuwara Eliya, the hill-country holiday resort popular with April holidaymakers, will soon become a year round tourist attraction. The Nuwara Eliya Tourism and Travel Services Association (NETTSA) has decided to promote Nuwara Eliya as an ideal holiday destination. "We are now planning to give Nuwara Eliya its due place," Harin De Costa, Resident Manager of the Grand Hotel said. “Nuwara Eliya is set to have a mini season in December with fun games and other recreational activities varying from water sports to safaris,” he added. The famous racecourse, the waterways and other places of interest will be re-developed to display its past glory.
